I only wish I had finished this in time for my book club meeting. It is a quick read and hard to put down. The voice is skillfully built so that a 10 year old narrator is entirely believable without being annoying. Part of me thinks it would be a solid movie as long as the script stays true to the novel (I would want it to hit the big screens but know deep down it would most likely end up on Hallmark or Lifetime unfortunately), and the other part of me does not want to ruin the movie that easily played out in my head while I read.
