Completely underwhelming. Everything about the story was predictable. I can’t tell if that was on purpose or not. I didn’t care enough about the characters to find this upsetting and to be honest I’ve read darker. There seemed to be timeline issues and plot hole gaps that the author just glazed over. I had to keep going back to see if I missed something.
