Better than the Descendants prequel, I'll give it that. Despite my love for the girls Jughead and Archie's plotlines are probably best, Veronica's can be exasperating in its high-class LA sentimentalities, and Betty's is... Mainly just boring, with a very abrupt conclusion.
Micol obviously has a lot of love for this setting and it shows. I was especially impressed by the references to backstory and events, as far as I can remember, only mentioned in the Riverdale comic series. Also enjoyed some of the occasional characterisation for side characters like Valerie.
