The Fourth Wing is like many of the currently popular young-adult fantasy books out, but this doesn't detract from the enjoyability of the story. The main character is disabled, and the ease with which diversity is present in this story sets it apart from the generic fantasy popular currently. The characters are well-written and delightful to interact with.
