Stephan Lee did me in with this sequel! I was there rooting for Candace through it all, along with the members of her group, her many friends (including new friends of a rival idol group), and her relationship with YoungBae. Candace had to endure a lot of change, some good and some bad, but what really got me as a reader was reading through her struggles near the end. That was tough and made me want to hug her through the pages, but knowing that she wouldn’t give up and could rely on the people who cared most about her, it gave me hope that things would get better (and of course, they did). Candace and her friends are all my K-Pop Warriors 💜 I also loved the Eric Nam mentions in this story (especially after reading the author’s interview with Teen Vogue) 🎶❤️ I seriously can’t wait to read more by this author!
