Hallie was the hero of this story.  I couldn't get over her strength.  All that she went through and she refused to let it control her life.  She fought so hard to take it all back.  She reminded me of Addie from Hidden Waters - so incredibly strong.  Addie was my favorite of her series and Hallie was my favorite from this series.  And the way that Lawson adored her, protected her, comforted her . . . saw her and loved her.    I couldn't get enough of them.  But the best relationship in this book is Hallie and Luke.  The way that Hallie saw Luke and connected with him really hit me in all the feels.  I loved how Hallie was able to bring Luke back to his family.  Just a fantastic book.
