The genre is supposed to be YA, but if you are a parent of a teen this is Horror. Makes me consider some different conversations with my kids then I am currently having. And I supposed that is the point. It is a bit heavy handed at times, but certainly a conversation generator.
Not the best writing in the world though - I would recommend it for the story.
