The Astonishing Color of After by Emily X.R. Pan

5.0

i am in awe of this book
i am in so much pain
i want to cry
this hurt me
i love this book
i live for leigh and her story
her mother is so... relatable
the representation of mental illnesses in this book was formidable and handled in a way that did not romanticize suicide
this book was lyrical and highly quotable
a stunning contemporary that made me feel happy
and since i am in one of my low episodes i needed that
thank the lord for novels
thank the lord for authors
thank the lord for eyes i can read with
that’s i really want
a book and limitless time and this book made me feel like i was floating
