I loved this book. First, let me say that the cover is simply amazing! The dual storyline was so well done and I learned an incredible amount of the past and current struggle of Cubans. What a predicament that so many families in various generations have faced and this book was the perfect combination of story, mystery and history. I equally enjoyed reading Marisol and Elisa's stories. I read this with my book club and every person absolutely loved it, (which never happens). We had great conversation and all almost felt like we had traveled to Cuba with the descriptions from the book. Highly recommended! 5 wonderful stars!
