easily a five star read. i had my fears reading this book because of tiktok pushing this onto my algorithm. i had also read reviews and there were a few that said they quickly dnf’ed it and so, i was fearful i had wasted my money at the store. if you love fantasy, a slow burn, adventure and all things woman protagonist, this book is for you! i truly found myself addicted to this book and opening it at every free opportunity i got, even if it got me in trouble at work. the characters are loveable and very unlovable (on purpose)! the world building is like no other and the romance between characters, truly had me pacing around to catch a breath. PLEASE ! READ THIS BOOK !! easily one of my favorite books this year.
