Three Women by Lisa Taddeo

3.0

This book isn’t what I thought it would be about. It is the stories of 3 women and their defunct sexual encounters. None of the 3 are in “healthy/normal” relationships. I found it to be a bit depressing to read some of the encounters and that these are the three stories the author chose to write about. I felt like there couldn’t been more stories about women in healthy relationships and their desires and needs and how they were fulfilled or not fulfilled.
There were some great points in each story about what is missing or lacking in society as whole in supporting women and their sexual desires. This book definitely would be great for a masters program in women studies. A class where it can be discussed and hashed out Why and how society views women’s decisions when it comes to sexuality.
