Of Moons and Monsters by Willow Hadley

5.0

Of Moons and Monsters is the first book that I have read by Willow Hadley and I can’t wait for the next book because I absolutely loved it. The story is narrated the perspective of multiple characters which I absolutely loved because the guardians speak in another language that I don’t understand so it’s interesting to discover what they are actually saying, thinking and feeling.

I am in total awe of how amazing, strong, sassy, intelligent and calm Isla is especially after being kidnapped. The four guardians of Briya—Reule, Audun, Maalik, and Caelan are absolutely delicious. They are kind, cute, funny, intense, caring and incredibly intriguing. I really love the instant connection between Isla and the guardians because I found it be beautiful.

There are so many hilarious moments in this book including one that involves Isla and her shoe which made me laugh so much. This book was beautiful written with an interesting storyline and complex characters which I loved.

I recieved an advanced copy for free, and this is my honest opinion.
