A History of Wild Places
by Shea Ernshaw
At first this was a promising mystery, as we follow a psychic into the woods tracking the memories of a missing woman.
Then it abruptly became The Village (an M. Night movie), where a community lives isolated from the outside world for reasons that might not be entirely based in reality.
For a while it felt stale, and although it eventually gained speed and became hard to put down, I still can't throw my whole heart into recommending it. Not a bad read. I liked it, overall.
