This is another book dealing with family dynamics and while the ending seems a bit too tied together with characters changing their nature in a manner that seemed sudden rather than evolutionary, I enjoyed the story and most of the characters. It's more lightweight than say, The Corrections, but it kept my interest. For some reason, I felt myself sympathizing more with Frank than Paulette but that's probably because I wished she'd just communicate rather than keeping it all in. Then again, that would have gone against her nature.
