For me, this volume really toed the line between what I can accept in a seinen manga. The things that the mangaka puts poor Hitomi through in this volume were quite cruel, it crossed the line to not being funny. I get it, kids saying curse words when they don't know what they mean can be funny, but to put a young girl in that situation in a place she doesn't know with nobody looking out for her... even though I knew it isn't that kind of manga, my alarm bells still couldn't help but keep going off. I hope future volumes don't continue to cross that line and keep things within the realm of non-torture for young girls.
