Absolutely enthralling!

What are we if we cannot feel emotion?

Let me preface with saying I adore books that take a new look at pre-mortality, life and the world after death. Fathed Born brought to us a new way to view the subject and reframed some things/terms that I grew up with being a part of certain religious beliefs. That being said this book is in no way religious, there is no mention of a God or holy power, simply how mortals come to be and where souls come from.

I loved every page, watching the watchers balance neutrality and mortal influence was mesmerizing and I cannot wait to dive into the next book.

I will say if you arent as invested in anyone other than Ardenis, you could stop with just Fated Born but I hardly see how you could not be just as invested on life beyond Acantha.
