When Gods Die by C.S. Harris

4.0

The second in a series that I started a couple of years ago, this book was a very enjoyable read. Devlin is still haunted by his past and now the death of a Marchioness has brought new information to light about his mother's death....or is she dead?

Not only do I think the main mystery is well thought out, but the twists and turns that brought about the end to the mystery of who killed the Marchioness found in the Regent's arms in Brighton also bring us closer to the mystery that surrounds Devlin himself. Now I can't wait to read the next installment in this series.
