Had to read quickly for book club, and I didn't find that hard to do. But it never really grabbed me. I liked some aspects of the magical realism, but

I found the moths kind of silly and confusing, and I didn't love having to wait until the very end to find out what their deal was. And even then, I still don't really get it.

But the characters and their relationships were endearing.

Looking forward to discussing at book club!
