emotional funny hopeful inspiring fast-paced
I loved this so much. It is such a timely story and the author weaves humor with serious themes. Most of the characters are funny and some are scary af. It’s such a great exploration of fear, ignorance, bigotry. I love that this took place in the south and included characters that are liberated, rather than just the stereotypical ignorant hateful southern type. I need to reflect more to add to this review but I loved it and highly recommend.
