Piccoli suicidi tra amici
by Arto Paasilinna
I did not exactly liked this book. It was really confused, not following a real plot but just giving space to worthless scenes in which one or more characters are involved, giving nothing to the whole narration. All the characters (many!) were just cited slightly, none of them can be pictured in the mind of the reader. The difficulty in reading the names both of the characters and the places the group travels along doesn't really help. Furthermore, sometimes the places are cited almost as a (pointless) list.
Some of the characters (the "non suicide" and the detective) are absolutely non influential for the narration itself.
The whole story seems just based on the food and the huge quantity of alcohol the characters drink. The turn of the events on the ending is really poor and quite predictable.
