I’m genuinely not sure what the message of this book was meant to be. Neither side seemed to come out looking good, and neither side was changed. I also think a major contributor to me not enjoying this book was the racism and micro aggressions. Of course this book was written almost 100 years ago but that doesn’t make it fun to read.
