“How was I to know that once I started running, I’d never stop?”

I am all in when an author attempts a unique writing style. In this case, the story was written with a reverse timeline. We start out knowing that one of the girls on the yacht vanished and then work backwards to the day the girls left on their trip. Interspersed between the chapters are transcripts of police interviews and journal entries of the girl that disappeared, which made for a fun mixed media element.

This was a fun read and while the end had a couple things that were implausible based solely on the fact they came completely out of left field, I did enjoy the experience.
