Noragami: Stray God 3 by Adachitoka

5.0

What an emotional, gut-wrenching and heartbreaking volume! I didn't think this series would hit me in the feels so early on!

As I've mentioned in the last two volumes, I ADORE the worldbuilding in this series. The far shore and its relationship with the near shore is so much more complicated than "one side is for the living, the other side is for the dead," and I appreciate all the work that Adachitoka puts into creating this world and it's lore. Also, learning about strays was really interesting and I'm curious to see how much of a role they'll play later on in the series.

The final chapter was super emotional, but I loved seeing this hodge-podge group of shinki trying to save Yato and Yukine, and I'm so damn proud of my girl Hiyori for stepping up to help them. She's such an underrated character in anime and it kind of pisses me off cuz she's so cool!

Looking forward to the next arc and what it has in store for our motley crew!
