Looking for a Cowboy by Donna Grant

4.0

What a doozy of a subject matter! Seriously gut twisting. But that definitely added a sinister and tense atmosphere to this entire story.

I love cowboys and small towns. Cooper may not be a cowboy but he’s the next best thing. He’s always willing to step up do whatever needs to be done. We’ve seen him in the previous books always joining in the fray. He’s not afraid of anything it seems. He’s watching his friends slowly start to find their brides and he’s starting to think about his future. But thinking about it and coming face to face with it are two different things. The moment he laid eyes on Marlee, his world was changed.

Marlee has a mission. It’s her job and passion and she doesn’t need distractions. She’s done her research on this town and it’s people but nothing could prepare her for actually meeting them, especially Cooper. She thought her job was cut and dry, and she’d be in an out in a few days, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. She never imagined what would lie ahead for her.

This was an insta love romance mixed with a load of suspense and I adored it! Kept me turning pages as I read it in one sitting. I look forward to reading the next one!

I received an arc and this is my honest review.
