i’ll admit, i started this book with high expectations after hearing all the hype about it but was deeply disappointed by all the grammatical and punctuation errors and at times it becomes very repetitive. however! i’m glad that i pushed through because it’s not a bad story (granted, there are a lot of cheesy romance tropes and their love being the exception to the rule is hard to believe). i feel like if moon had told this story in the tone of a mystery or suspense/thriller, it would’ve made for a more interesting read.
as an afterthought, chapter 2 and chapter 23 start off almost identical with the exception that a couple of manee’s inner thoughts are different. i thought that was pretty lazy on moon’s end but oh well…c’est la vie.
