His & Hers by Alice Feeney

5.0

This was my first entry into audiobooks in general and my first audiobook from NetGalley too! Thank you @netgalley for the opportunity to listen to this book which is due out July 28th 2020! Published with @macmillan.audio and @flatiron_books

I have to admit I was a bit thrown off by the voice in the first chapter but I loved the narrator's voices going through the rest of the book and the disguised voice at the beginning of course made sense in the end. His & Hers (narrated by Richard Armitage & Stephanie Racine) starts out with a murder in Blackdown which is a small English village. It brings news reporter, Anna Andrews, out of the news room and back into the field to cover what they think is going to be a murder case and they want to be first on the scene. Detective Jack Harper isn't thrilled with her involvement covering the case, especially when he realizes he's a suspect.

I was sure I had things figured out multiple times, Alice Feeney did a great job of leading you in all directions. I had suspicions about nearly each character as the book went on. Highly recommend this audiobook that will definitely keep the listener guessing with the new details added into each chapter.
