The Cater Street Hangman by Anne Perry

It was okay. Nice to follow the various characters' plotlines. But I knew the murderer from Chapter 2, and there were no actual clues in the book. We just follow the story along until the very end, when our heroine meets the murderer and is put in danger, thus the case is solved. Meh.

Also, the book was rather dark. I will continue as there is nothing better available at the moment, but not too excited about this series.
