Did not finish book. Stopped at 14%.
All the characters are unbearable. I’m all for a morally corrupted hot guy, but Diesel especially is deplorable in an irredeemable way and I couldn’t stand the thought that the FMC would find him acceptable in any way. Endless descriptions of “internal darkness” and unnecessary obsession with Roxy after barely meeting her. Every paragraph felt like it was trying hard to be deep and quotable.
