Hiding the synopsis below, for those who haven't read the first 2 books in The Empyrean series...
Violet Sorrengail, after nearly 18 months at Basgiath War College, faces the harsh reality that the battle for survival has begun. With enemies closing in from all sides—both external & internal—Violet must venture beyond the protective walls of Aretia to forge alliances with foreign lands. Along the way, she'll need to rely on her intelligence, luck & strength to secure the future of her dragons, her family & her home. But there's a secret she's holding, one so dangerous it could tear everything apart. With the stakes higher than ever, Violet must find the truth to help her people, even as a deadly storm looms on the horizon, threatening everything she loves.
Welp, I'm back on the dragon bandwagon with this one, folks! I experienced such a high when I listened to Fourth Wing, only to feel let down by Iron Flame, so I was hesitant (yet hopeful?) coming into OS. AND THANK AMARI, the third book certainly hit like the first one! I've already gone down the TikTok rabbit holes, and it makes me so excited for the next book in this series.
