I read this for my Afrofuturism class and as I've mentioned a million times over, space stories generally aren't my thing. As these stories tend to be, this was convoluted and filled with a huge cast of characters. I enjoyed the adventures the team went on, even when I couldn’t remember who was who. I also really liked Grace as a narrator. Though I didn't always understand what was going on, I enjoyed the journey.
