Dead Ever After by Charlaine Harris

4.0

I really liked this series, and I thought the ending was fitting.
This series doesn't have the best writing in the world, but the content makes up for it in spades.
The concept behind it all was very interesting, the mysteries were exciting, the romance was steamy, and the characters were delightful.
But the heart of the series was Sookie- I found her very refreshing. It was nice to see a heroine worry about both how to pay the bills, and how to stop fights between supernatural creatures. I can't really explain it beyond that, but she was the perfect heroine for the world Harris created.
