Barn Burner
by Anastasija White
I LOVED this book. It was SO SOFT. Anastasija wrote that at the very beginning so I knew it was going to be and it was so done SO WELL. I loved Drake and Angie so so much. And I loved seeing Ava and Colt again!! And even Angie’s friends were such a good addition to this not so little family. I cannot wait for the next book in this series!!!
I loved how easily Angie and Drake became friends. It was seamless. They both really needed each other, even though they both have best friends and a strong support system, they kind of needed someone just for them? And they were perfect for each other. And of course the fake dating was PERFECT. I love when they set rules KNOWING they’re going to break them all.
I also loved how vulnerable and real they both were. Drake was so worried about being behind in life, being left behind. He wasn’t necessarily where he wanted to be in life, especially since seemingly everyone else was doing the things he wanted. And Angie was haunted by her past. She has worked so hard to get better, to move past everything - and she had done such a good job! But of course something always comes back around. In the end though they were THERE for each other. No matter what. And it was BEAUTIFUL.
I loved the epilogue so much 🥹
Thank you so much to Anastasija White and her team at Wordsmith Publicity for this ARC in exchange for an honest review!!
