The book fell quite flat.
The characters are nothing special and I never cared about any of them. Daisy annoyed me the most, everything she claims to be and is dissappear once she meets Billy.

There is no character development and the reason the band split up in never directly explained.

The book could be more accurately described as notes written down as "he said, she said".

It reads like a screen play or a documentary of sorts. I'm sure it would be much better as an audio book.

There are not very good explanations of the experiences they have to even come up with the music they make....their supposed fame is not even highlighted well enough to be believable.

It's quite unfortunate, I thought it would be a nice quick read, but it dragged in places and then randomly decides to pick up the pace around the last 40 - 50 pages with an unsatisfactory ending. The choices made by the characters did not match their given descriptions at all.

It was an okay read, but definitely not one I would ever read again.
