I first read this book years ago and loved it then. I never moved on with the series and whole heartedly regret it. So, when @daniiireads wanted to do a buddy read I of course jumped on the chance. I’m really glad that I did.

At a certain age parents can choose to “Unwind” their teens. This giving life and energy to the others that are in the world. But, what happens when a teen is unwound? Do they cease to exist all together? Or does part of them remain?…

Further, what happens when the teens don’t want to be unwound? All I can say is this action packed book truly made me think. With greed, climate change, advancements in science and technology and the human need to further experiment just to see what better could be out there; I hope I would be part of the “grave yard crew”.

If you love dystopians and sci-fi, teen drama, and questioning yourself and your own morals this book is a definite most read
