This was the easiest 5 stars ever. I adored everything about this book. It’s the perfect mash-up of PJO and The Hunger Games, but super queer.

This is set in an amazing queer-normative world, with such an interesting history and magic system to it. All of the characters are so loveable and have so much depth. You can’t help but to love them (or love to hate them).

The way the book tackled gender and body dysphoria and then euphoria was just so well done too❤️

This was so tense. I wasn’t expecting to be as stressed as I was over everything. If I hadn’t been busy I would have read this in one sitting. It wouldn’t leave my mind in between reading and won’t leave it now.

This was just such a fun and enjoyable reading experience and down right hilarious. The ending destroyed me and restored my hope. I cannot wait for the sequel to come out. I won’t rest till it does.

If you’ve been chasing a YA that has the same vibes as some of the OG’s and is full of queer characters and has great humour, then this is the book for you!
