I love Nunez’s writing. This one felt like a long journal entry, instead of a novel, but I quite liked the ride. There is (barely) a plot and it involves a parrot. And the COVID pandemic. But it’s also about aging and vulnerability in all its forms and what purpose we serve in life and on this planet. I was swept up in this slim book.
