I adored cleopatra and Frankenstein when it came out and highly anticipated Mellor’s second novel. And I loved it even more! I enjoyed reading about each sister and felt their uniqueness and connection to Nicki individually.
The epilogue ruined the perfect rating for me. Lucky becoming famous felt really far fetched. And Bonnie naming her child (also the baby’s POV(?)) felt too obvious, like the ending was trying to be tied up in a nice little bow when realistically the rest of the story was darker and chaotic.
