Peyote Trip has a pretty good gig in the deals department on the fifth floor of Hell. All he needs is one more member of the Harrison family to make a deal and he'll have a full set. The Harrisons are heading to their lake House for the summer, but this year they're bringing a new guest, Ruth, and no one was prepared for Ruth.
A really fun and original novel. The story of a family with all its secrets and lies and dirty underbellies. The depiction of Hell as more of a constant series of inconveniences, rather than constant fire and brimstone is great. Really good cast of fleshed out characters. Some of the writing was a bit clunky at times, but all in all a really entertaining read.
