My second book by the widely adored and famous author Sarah J Mass and I absolutely loved it! :)
I started this book and the series as part of a buddy read with a friend, and I'm so glad I did.
Similar to Crescent City, I thought the book was entertaining, fast paced and full of twists with amazing action sequences.
I also loved the fact that the protagonist is shown to be a fierce female/girl who has moments of vulnerability and lots of courage and yet is completely comfortable in her skin. Even better were the friendships introduced in the book -m/m, f/m and f/f.
I can't wait do read more of Celeana's journey and see what happens with the various characters in the next book in the series :)
