I did DNF this book, and I might not have gotten far enough into this to be able to understand it properly, and to be hooked by it. But reading it as an audiobook I felt like the pacing was just too slow. I wasn't really feeling anything for the characters and wasn't really interested by what happened to them.

I'm sure this is a really enjoyable book, however I just couldn't finish it. I think the biggest issue was the pacing, but also the genre cause I don't know if dark academia is something I like. It's not a problem with the book, just my thoughts on it.
