Lyrical, preachy, satirical, historical, and occasionally raunchy and suggestive, this collection of stories has a wide range.
While I found The Canterbury Tales to be confusing and inappropriate the first time I read them in high school, I’ve found much more enjoyment in them the older I get. It doesn’t hurt that I’ve recently enjoyed visiting the Renaissance Festival as well.
