Can't Fix Cupid by Raven Kennedy
4.0
full disclosure, i only read this one because it's a cupid book and valentine's day is right around the corner and i really wanted so read something that was holiday specific.
Although saying that i did really really enjoy the other cupid series that Raven Kennedy wrote. I thought it was a lot of fun and i binged it in less than a week, so i feel like i already knew what i was getting into when i picked this one up!
The one thing i wasn't at all expecting in this book was the FREAKING NUDIST COLONY. That was seriously so out of pocket and i don't think i would have thought of it in a million years. Can't even really say that it added anything to the plot other than shock factor and meeting a couple more characters but i'm not mad at it lol
Overall this was a pretty cute book. It was adorable, Trix was a hoot and just always doing something insane. Can't say that i thought the romance was off the charts, just felt like because they had spent so much time together and had so many weird interactions (and the fact that they were both running out of time) that they settled for each other a bit?? it was still adorable though ok!
The ending was probably the most confusing thing about the whole book, just in the way that Trix goes about saving his life and regaining her cupid powers, loosing them again, becoming something else and then getting roped into a HR meeting before going poof. Was very weird.
i did love the pacing though, and i think the epilogue was probably my favourite part of the whole thing.
