I really wanted to like this book. I thought it would be a bit like ‘Before the coffee gets cold’ and I think that’s kind of what the author set out to do, but it just didn’t land quite the same way. I understand that the book was translated into English but so much of the dialogue sounded stilted and unnatural. In addition to that, I didn’t really understand what was going on most of the time, the plot was all over the place and difficult to follow along. I like the idea of the book, but the ending was confusing as well. Sorry, but this one wasn’t for me.
