pros: it’s show-not-tell and Don is very likable.
cons: it is very stereotypical. maybe too much so. and i feel like the message of the book is „hey look a life without schedules is possible, actually quite nice, and if i’m really honest, might even be better“ rather than „being autistic is fine“. i like that in the end Rosie accepts Don the way he is, but getting there was a real challenge in becoming more „normal“.
