Now You See Her
by Heidi Perks
A taut thriller that keeps you reading to the end. It is the story of friendship, the secrets we keep and the lies we tell to protect ourselves. You could easily devour this book in one sitting and I like the way it is told from two points of view in two timeframes.
The writer draws you in to the characters and their lives, whilst spinning the web of deceit to pull you into the story. It causes you to question the truth about friendship and how well do we really know our friends lives?
Harriet leaves her little girl Alice with her friend Charlotte for the first time and Alice disappears at the school fete. As the book progresses yo realise all is not as it seems and there are secrets to be exposed. The twist is unexpected and unlike other thrillers I have read recently it has a proper end.
Thank you Netgalley for providing me with an ARC in return for my honest review
