A Trick of the Light
by Louise Penny
Yet another strong volume in the Inspector Gamache series. I wasn't too crazy about the previous entry, but this one is back to focusing on a murder in Three Pines. All the usual characters are involved, and I LOVED it when Clara, Ruth, and Myrna did a ritual and smudged the garden. :) We learn a bit more about what is going on in Beauvoir's head, and with every book, we learn a bit more why he's such a mysterious and odd little duck (metaphorically; I'm not talking about Rosa). With each book, I dislike Peter Morrow more and more, and I'm very curious to see what happens in the next installment.
