All the pieces were there for me to love this - it has an extremely interesting magic system, the world feels well built out without egregious lore dumps, there’s heists and intrigue galore - but for whatever reason it just didn’t quite click? Gonna stew on it, maybe the rating will change, but my initial reaction was just “it’s fine” which is a bummer.
