duparker 's review for:
The Hangman's Daughter
by Oliver Pötzsch
The medieval atmosphere really provides a lot of movement for this book. The mystery portion is well thought out and reads well; leading the reader through the various inner workings of the village and the fears and feats of its people.
As a first in a series, it does its job of getting the reader to move to the second book.
