Twelve Words for Moss by Elizabeth-Jane Burnett

emotional reflective relaxing slow-paced

3.75

This was such an interesting read- a travelogue of sorts, a memoir of sorts, all in woven extended poetry. For that reason, I found it surprisingly hard to read; I couldn't get over the slow, methodical way that poetry is often read compared to prose.
However, it was a beautiful book with a really fresh and interesting format, a real rarity in a time where it feels like everything has been done. I have spent a lot more time paying attention to moss since!
