I had an overall enjoyable time with this and really liked the backdrop of STEM and academia in this book. I liked Olive's personal journey, but the romance felt a bit cheesy at times (particularly towards the end) and the miscommunication (if you can call it that?) felt like it went on a little too long for my liking. The writing style was fun and laid back for the most part, but there were some repetitive components to it that I couldn't overlook, for example I think we got told that Adam is huge or tall at least five times in the first chapter or two. In saying this, I think I'd be interested in reading more from Ali Hazelwood, particulalry because this is her debut and others have said her writing improves from here.
Graphic: Cancer, Death of parent
Moderate: Sexual harassment
